Expressive paintings inspired by quiet moments in the natural world

Do you ever pause when something in nature catches your eye—the light through leaves, a quiet path, or the brief presence of a bird passing through? These small moments are what draw me to paint. My work is inspired by time spent observing the natural world, from local landscapes to the wildlife within them. Through painting, I try to hold onto that sense of calm and atmosphere and share it with others. You’re very welcome to stay a while and explore.

Hi, I’m Jo

I’m a painter based in Surrey, working primarily in oils and watercolour.
My work is inspired by woodland walks, river paths and seasonal changes — exploring the quiet beauty of nature through expressive colour and mark-making.
